The 100 Hottest Celebrity Couples of 2013: 1 to 25

The 100 Hottest Celebrity Couples of 2013: 1 to 25

This is Beyonce and Jay-Z’s third year at the top of Zimbio’s 100 Hottest Couples list. Why? Well, since 2011, there hasn’t been another couple who’s been able to dethrone these two. Just when Jay and Bey looked like they were at the tip-top of their game, they went and had a baby. And recorded new albums. And continued to be the highest-paid couple in showbiz. They make it look easy.

Having an infant at home definitely didn’t slow down these superstars. Instead, Baby Blue became one of the most well-traveled kids in Hollywood while hanging out on the beach in the Bahamas and sightseeing in Paris. Mom also found time to film an HBO documentary, work on her fifth studio album, record a new song with Destiny’s Child, land a $50 million Pepsi endorsement, and wow millions during the Super Bowl halftime show. She’s sold more than 75 million albums, and it’s hard to remember she’s only 31. "I worked so hard during my childhood to meet this goal: By the time I was 30 years old, I could do what I want," she said in a recent interview. "I've reached that. I feel very fortunate to be in that position. But I've sacrificed a lot of things, and I've worked harder than probably anyone I know, at least in the music industry. So I just have to remind myself that I deserve it."

After recording a song for Blue Ivy after her birth last January, Jay-Z continued his reign as an ultra-successful rapper/businessman/collaborator/all-around stud. Jay’s currently putting his $500 million fortune toward his 17th album, an effort that’s surely one of the most anticipated of 2013. He already made a song-saving appearance on Justin Timberlake’s comeback track “Suit & Tie” and promised to team up with Kanye West again for Watch the Throne, Part 2. And he also has at least one more fan, thanks to his awesome run-in with an “elderly woman” on the Brooklyn subway.

Along with their independent successes, the couple seems like a stronger husband-and-wife team as time goes on. There might have been nasty rumors about Beyonce’s fake pregnancy, but divorce buzz just doesn’t exist. In fact, instead of drifting apart like some celeb couples do, they are becoming more open about their loving relationship after over a decade together. Beyonce said of her marriage in a February GQ interview: "I was independent before I met my husband, and we have such a natural chemistry and a genuine relationship, and it's based on the things that relationships are supposed to be based on.”

With their solid relationship, flourishing careers, and fantastic family life, it might take something miraculous like KimYe twins and a marriage to unseat Bey and Jay.

The biggest news from the Brangelina camp over the last year was their April engagement and the massive diamond ring that came along with it. They aren’t talking about the date or the dress, but when the parents of six say "I do," it's going to be epic. After all, these two had a perfect score for Attractiveness, even though Brad Pitt has yet to shave his gray-haired goatee.

The wedding buzz lifted their Popularity score, helping to make up for a largely uneventful year career-wise. Brad starred in Killing Them Softly, but that was nothing when compared with 2011, when he scored double Oscar nods. Angelina didn’t star in a single movie in 2012; however, that mostly just means the couple took time out from in front of the cameras to teach us exactly what it means to be a functional famous family. They were spotted all over the world with their six children and even went to the movies on weekend afternoons like a normal family of eight. Jolie talked about staying grounded in a recent interview, saying: "The great thing about having a bunch of kids is they just remind you that you're the person who takes them to go poop.”

Expect 2013 to be a big career year for both stars, though. Mr. Pitt can be seen in his passion project, World War Z, along with two more exciting flicks in the coming months. His wife-to-be has been filming Maleficent for months now, even though we’ll have to wait until 2014 for the final product. We just hope we don’t have to wait quite that long for their wedding pictures.

When it comes to Zimbio’s Hottest Couples list, Victoria and David Beckham are veterans. They’ve been in the Top 10 since 2009, even finishing at the very top of the list in 2010. And with an adorable family, successful careers, and two of Hollywood’s hottest bodies, is it any surprise that Posh and Becks have once again landed in a primo spot on this year’s list?

After 16 years together, the Beckhams have clearly got the fabulous, fashionable family thing down pat. Little Harper rocked some serious pint-size style this year, while her three big brothers continued to grow into dapper young men (who most definitely have their dad’s good looks).

After six seasons with the L.A. Galaxy, Becks announced in late 2012 that he was leaving the team “to experience one last challenge before the end of my playing career." He later signed a five-month contract with Paris Saint-Germain, vowing to donate his rumored $1 million a month salary to charity. Victoria’s fashion line, meanwhile, remained just as hot as ever, showing up on big-name stars such as Beyonce and Eva Longoria. The former Posh Spice also reunited with the Spice Girls to provide some entertainment (and sweet ’90s nostalgia) at the closing ceremony of the London Olympic Games.

What is it about athletes and models that makes for such sweet love connections? Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen started off 2012 with a bit of a high-profile scandal: After the New England Patriots lost the Super Bowl to the Giants, the model was caught on camera saying, "My husband cannot f---ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time!"

They smoothed over the mini public-relations snafu with news that they were expecting a second child, and in December little Vivian Lake joined big brother Benjamin and half brother John Moynahan. The new addition to the Brady family gave the couple a boost in Staying Power, but the supermodel and the model-like quarterback didn’t need any help in the Attractiveness department.

Gisele didn’t let her pregnancy slow down her busy career. She appeared in countless fashion ads and commercials, and graced the covers of some of the world’s top magazines. The Brazilian beauty came in eighth on the Forbes list of Entertainment’s Highest-Paid Women, and she topped the highest-paid models list. Brady, meanwhile, had another great season on the field, leading his Patriots all the way to the AFC title game before losing to the Ravens. The quarterback also enjoyed lucrative endorsement deals with brands from SmartWater to UGG to Visa.

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the royal baby in the baby carriage! That’s right, the only royal couple on our Hottest Couples list announced late last year that they’re expecting their own little future king or queen this July. The baby news definitely upped the couple’s Staying Power score this year, and gave the duo a bump in Popularity as well.

After more than a decade together and almost two years of wedded bliss, the Duke and Duchess still looked like a couple of newlyweds during their 2012 photo ops. This year they learned how to dance like the natives in Vaiku Falekaupule, enjoyed canoe rides in the Solomon Islands, and climbed trees like seasoned pros in Malaysia. Kate’s ability to look glamorous through all that helped these two in the Attractiveness department.

So what’s up next for the world’s favorite royal couple? More travel and charity work for Will, and an inevitably enviable parade of maternity fashion for Kate. Yep, 2013 is shaping up to be the best year yet for this regal pair.

It’s been quite a ride for Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum. The good-looking pair met back in 2006 on the set of Step Up, where they presumably fell in love while rehearsing all those white people hip hop routines. They tied the knot in 2009, but this was the year that really catapulted them into the ranks of Hollywood's most elite couples.

Both stars enjoyed major career success in 2012, with Tatum dominating the box office inThe Vow, Magic Mike, and 21 Jump Street. Seriously, you couldn't go to the movies this year without seeing the actor's chiseled jaw and rock hard abs. Dewan, meanwhile, had a sexy turn on American Horror Story: Asylum opposite Adam Levine.

To top it all off, Channing scored People’s Sexiest Man Alive title (sorry again, Ryan Gosling), and the couple announced in December that they’re expecting their first child together. We look forward to watching that baby win its own sexiness awards 25 years in the future.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have always been one of the most likeable couples in Hollywood. And after awards season this year, there’s no denying that they’re also still madly in love. For every Affleck victory (and there were plenty, thanks to Argo), there was a heartfelt speech in which the actor thanked his gorgeous wife and three kids. “I want to thank my wife, who is the reason why I'm standing here,” he said after his Best Director Golden Globe win in January. “I adore you. I love you so much. Thanks for sitting through this. You are my everything. Thank you.” Like women everywhere needed more reason to swoon over the multitalented star.

And it gets cuter: His good-luck charms at these shows consisted of hand scribbles from his young daughters, Violet and Seraphina. (Baby Samuel is still too young for ballpoint pens.)

Let’s hope that after Argo’s wild success, the actor/director actually takes some real time off. You know, aside from those Sunday afternoons when he’s ice-skating with his family or taking one of the girls to karate class.

Welcome to the top 10, Shakira and Gerard Pique! Last year, it looked like these two were simply having a steamy rebound after the singer's breakup with her boyfriend of over a decade. However, Shakira and her soccer stud are now proud parents of a baby boy and look happier than ever.

Baby Milan was born in January and already has his first pair of Nike sneakers. The little tyke is destined to be gorgeous and talented with parents like his.

Along with spending much of 2012 with some new pregnancy curves, Shakira landed a spot as a mentor on The Voice and started working on her eighth album. Can you believe it’s been over a decade since her first English hit, “Whenever, Wherever,” was on the airwaves?

Pique, who’s under contract with FC Barcelona for two more years, also had a standout year. He helped bring the Spanish national team to victory at the UEFA Euro 2012 and is consistently proving to be one of the best defenders in the world. At 26, he has a long career ahead of him too. If these Spanish stars continue on their current course, they could easily be top five material next year.

This year was very good to Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake. The Hollywood power couple landed in the ninth spot on our Hottest Couples list, thanks to a big relationship-status change (hello, wedding!) and busy work schedules.

The former on-again/off-again pair finally tied the knot in October 2012 with a glamorous wedding in Southern Italy, where the fashionable bride donned a one-of-a-kind pink wedding gown. The dreamy wedding gave Timberbiel a boost in our Staying Power measure, but they didn’t need any help in the Attractiveness category — Zimbio readers think both stars are hot, hot, hot.

On the career side, Biel was very busy in 2012, appearing in five movies, including Total Recall and Hitchcock. JT, meanwhile, kept busy filming a bunch of projects that are set to be released in the coming year. The former *NSYNC singer is also making his musical comeback with his first new album in six years.

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have houses in Los Angeles and Australia, but their home is in Nashville, where both the couple's daughters were born. The Australian-born actress and the New Zealand-born country singer have admitted the mishmash of Aussie, Kiwi, and Southern influences has left their girls with some interesting accents. Nicole explained to Ellen DeGeneres that it's "really cute, but my momma always says 'I can't understand her' because she says 'Hey, y'all' to her grandparents."

Nicole has even found ways to stay closer to Sunday Rose, 4, and Faith Margaret, 2, while working. We don't know how much convincing it took, but Fox Searchlight Pictures did someextensive location scouting in and around Nashville before shooting the upcoming gothic psychological thriller Stoker there. Kidman's role in the movie is that of a mother who may or may not be trying to kill her daughter (we can't tell from the trailer), but, either way, it's just one in a string of demanding parts she's taken on in a career that shows no signs of slumping.

Kidman's performance in last year's The Paperboy was largely regarded as the highlight of the film, garnering enough critical acclaim to make her a dark-horse awards-season contender. After Stoker, she'll star as Grace Kelly in the already controversial Grace of Monaco, a role she's said to have won over the likes of Gwyneth PaltrowAmy Adams, andCharlize Theron.

For his part, Keith's career has been going strong since the early ’90s, with his most recent No. 1 single coming just last year with "You Gonna Fly." But, after years of touring and recording, he decided to try something different this year: the high-profile (and reportedly lucrative) role of American Idol judge.

Not much is known about the relationship between soccer stud Cristiano Ronaldo and model Irina Shayk. They’re not all over the red carpet, and they prefer to keep the details of their relationship to themselves. They haven’t even publicly confirmed their engagement! But it’s obvious that both are ridiculously good-looking (especially in their underwear), and they’re thereby extremely popular on the Interwebs. That does a lot to keep the sexy duo at the 11th spot on our list.

Ronaldo is doing well for himself, thanks to his defined abs, which are used for show and goals. He tied for the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award in 2012 and also became the ninth-highest-paid athlete in the world, according to Forbes. With lucrative endorsements from Nike and Castrol, the athlete raked in an extra $22 million on top of his gigantic Real Madrid payday.

Shayk had a good year as well, gracing Esquire UK, GQ Germany, and 14 Cosmopolitancovers worldwide. She’s not exactly a household name in the States, but as the new spokesperson for Avon mascara and La Clover, she’s well on her way. If these two could just have a beautiful baby already, they’d easily break the top five next year.

Enrique Iglesias seems like one of those guys who’ll be working forever. It’s not because he needs the money (he’s worth a cool $45 million), but because he loves making music. The 37-year-old is working on his 10th album! If the new record is anything like the catchy lead single, “Finally Found You,” it’ll be a big year for the singer, who spent much of 2012 touring with Jennifer Lopez. Now that he’s not in a different city every week, perhaps he’ll have more time for fancy yacht rides in Miami with his retired wife, Anna Kournikova.

The former tennis star is worth about $50 million in her own right and hasn’t played the sport in years due to various injuries. Instead, she seems to be enjoying the couple's $20 million mansion and supporting charities, like global health organization PSI. The 31-year-old has been an ambassador for the cause for over three years and said her end-of-year wish for 2012 was for better health for kids around the world.

Now that Anna and Enrique have been together over a decade, since meeting on the set of the singer's 2001 video for "Escape," maybe they’ll officially settle down and have a kid of their own this year.

It’s been a year of big changes for Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green, who got hitched back in 2010 and welcomed their first child, a son named Noah, in September. Even though she was pregnant for most of the year, Fox still managed to score incredibly high in our Attractiveness measure, and her sexy hubby wasn’t far behind.

Not surprisingly, all that baby-making slowed Fox’s acting career down a bit. She appeared in This Is 40 and guest starred on an episode of Green’s TBS comedy, Wedding Band. In addition to his TBS series, the former 90210 heartthrob had hilarious guest spots on Happy Endings and Anger Management. The pair also ranked high in our Popularity meter, mostly because everyone wanted to see pictures the actress' crazy-good post-baby body.

Neither star has any big projects lined up for 2013 yet, so it’s hard to say where the coming year will take Megan and Brian. But we have faith that this Hollywood duo will figure out a way to stay on top of the Hottest Couples heap.

What a year these two have had. Since 2009, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have been one of the most insanely popular celebrity couples in the world, without ever publicly acknowledging their relationship. So when pictures surfaced over the summer showing Kristen making out with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, it shocked everyone when she then issued a press release apologizing for screwing up her relationship with Rob.

Incredibly, the two had reportedly reconciled by the time they started promoting the finalTwilight film a few months later. And, now that they’re back together, they’ve returned to the radio silence we’ve come to expect from them. Are they on the verge of breaking up? Are they engaged? It’s hard to tell with these tight-lipped stars, but we can’t help but analyze every detail we get from their public appearances and interviews.

Since Fergie announced her hiatus from the Black Eyed Peas in July 2011, the singer has had plenty of time to focus on her marriage and other endeavors, such as her shoe line. And it looks like the time off from those long hours in the recording studio and the tour bus has done wonders for her and husband Josh Duhamel.

Over the last year, she’s supported him on the red carpet for a change, looking every bit the proud wife at his movie premieres. At an event for Duhamel's latest film, Safe Haven, Fergie sparked yet another round of pregnancy rumors in a tight black dress. There hasn't been a baby confirmation so far, but, after nearly nine years together and with Fergie's career on the back burner, it seems like now would be the perfect time to start a family.

However, 2013 is shaping up to be a busy year for Duhamel. He has four more movies in the works and will surely gain some a few more loyal fans when he hosts Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards this spring. He'll get slimed, at the very least.

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have never been very flashy as a couple. Content to stay in Nashville instead of heading to Hollywood, country music’s reigning king and queen never went in much for celebrity, instead choosing to focus on their careers, and three daughters. But flash or not, these two can still pack houses.

In 2012, McGraw embarked on the seventh biggest tour of the year, pulling in $96.5 million in 23 shows with tourmate Kenny Chesney. Then he joined Faith in Las Vegas for an exclusive run of Soul2Soul shows at the Venetian where the two take time to talk to the audience about their life, marriage, and music while mixing unplugged numbers in between their hits.

This year is shaping up to be even more eventful. Tim is already on the promotional trail behind his brand new album, Two Lanes of Freedom, and Faith is preparing to drop her own full-length, Illusion, later in the year. If this list was about the hottest couples in country music, it would begin here.

Pink’s video for “Try” went viral almost as soon as it hit the web in October. With a simple set and one other dancer (both streaked in bright paint), the video told the story of a tumultuous relationship through jaw-dropping choreography. And Pink knows something about tumultuous relationships.

She and motocross hubby Carey Hart have weathered their storms, even separating for two years before reuniting in 2010. But, after working at their marriage, they've grown into one of the most stable celeb couples on our list. Just a few years ago, both these stars were known for hard partying, but these days they're more likely to be spotted going for a walk with daughter Willow, who will turn 2 in June.

The massive sales of Pink's sixth studio album, The Truth About Love, have given us confidence that she’ll stay relevant well into her 30s. The platinum album was her first to go No. 1, and she's following up its success with a tour that will keep her on the road through most of 2013. But not to worry: She's bringing her hubby and daughter along with her this time.

Hart has time to join his wife on tour because, after participating one last time in the X Games over the summer, he retired from motocross. The sport has taken its toll on his body. At 37, he says, “physically I’m probably closer to 67.” But motocross made him a star, and, as one of its pioneers, he helped legitimize it as a sport. This year, he'll be learning the ins and outs of running his own motocross racing team with partner Ricky Carmichael now that the two have joined forces to create RCH Racing.

Here’s some advice to couples who want to get on our Hottest Couples list next year: Try having a secret wedding. After almost a year of quietly dating, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds tied the knot in an ultra-private ceremony in South Carolina, where personal friendFlorence Welch performed a mini set for guests.

This Hollywood power couple also killed it in the Attractiveness category this year, tying for first place for the hottest pair in Tinseltown. Not surprisingly, Blake and Ryan also scored fairly high in our Popularity metric, probably because people really, really love looking at pictures of their gorgeous faces.

As for both of their busy careers, Lively wrapped up a six-season run on Gossip Girl in December and also starred in the gritty Oliver Stone flick Savages. Reynolds had a fairly quiet year at the box office, but that’s because he was busy filming a bunch of projects that are set to be released in 2013. With a wedding under the couple’s belts and two successful careers, can a sun-kissed blond baby be too far off for Blake and Ryan? Time will tell...

Fans are absolutely crazy for this Vampire Diaries couple. Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder met while working on the CW drama and started dating, with their characters on the show soon following suit, albeit in a tangled and appropriately dramatic way.

Nina and Ian were independently voted two of the hottest celebrities by our voters, giving them a huge Attractiveness score. Meanwhile their show continues to satisfy a ravenous (if niche) fan base, and both have taken on extra projects with Nina showing up in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and Ian working with his eponymously named foundation on environmental and wildlife causes.

With their beauty, success, and popularity, these two have not surprisingly risen to the 19th
spot on our list, and, if they stick together, they’ll have the makings of a real Hollywood power couple.

Given the couple's astronomical popularity and success, Kim Kardashian and Kanye Westwere bound to debut in the upper half of our list just by getting together. But factor in their exciting baby news, and it's no surprise they catapulted to the 20th spot.

The pregnancy, which was revealed by Yeezy at a concert in late December, gave the couple a bump (pardon the pun) in Staying Power and Popularity. Plus, the parents-to-be haven't slowed down since the baby news. It's business as usual for Kardashian, who's been promoting her brand and various TV shows consistently. She still loves the cameras and has yet to retire the tight, sexy dresses. And why would she? Her curves have never looked better.

West has been working on new music, and he'll probably take a play from his pal Jay-Z's book and record at least one song about fatherhood, if not a deep, misunderstood album about the miracle of life. Such is Yeezy's way.

Expect big things from these two in the next 18 years to come, especially if Kardashian's divorce from Kris Humphries ever gets finalized.

As soon as she announced the birth of "dem babies" in April 2011, Mariah Carey put her career on a back burner while husband Nick Cannon continued his seasonal work as host of America's Got Talent. But now that Monroe and Moroccan are almost two, Mariah is ready to make 2013 the Year of Mimi.

Not only has the most diva of all divas signed on for a high-profile, and satisfactorily catty, judging gig on American Idol, but she's also got a new full-length album scheduled to drop in March. She'll also appear on the big screen this year in Lee Daniels' The Butler. We can only hope this will lead to as much awards-season fun as the last time Mariah teamed up with the director (2009’s Precious).

Through it all, Mariah and Nick have remained one of the most accessible celeb couples to their fans. Not only do they spoil their followers with so. many. baby pictures. ondembabies.com, but they both enthusiastically interact with fans through Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, where Mariah loves to post new photos of herself cuddling with the twins.

Almost three years into their marriage, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem still seem like newlyweds. After taking some time off in 2011 to welcome their first child, a son named Leonardo Encinas, the pair got back into the swing of things last year with a series of buzzy big-screen ventures.

Cruz starred in Woody Allen's latest flick, To Rome with Love, and the Italian drama Twice Born. Bardem, meanwhile, gave the James Bond franchise its best villain in years and was rewarded with a slew of nominations from the SAG Awards, the BAFTAs, and the London Film Critics Circle.

Both stars have multiple films lined up for 2013, and they've also got a very special personal project in the works: a new baby! Cruz's pregnancy was revealed in early February, which means this pair will have lots to look forward to in the coming year.

Carrie Underwood swept up her usual glut of country music awards in 2012, thanks to the critical and commercial success of Blown Away, her fourth album. Thankfully, her hockey-star husband, Mike Fisher, was there to revel in her success. Though Fisher helped take the Nashville Predators to the NHL playoffs in April, he found his schedule pretty open when the league lockout put the 2012-2013 season on hold in September.

Carrie, who recently admitted that she "feels terrible" when people refer to her husband as "Mr. Underwood," made light of the NFL lockout by celebrating her husband's other skills. After November's American Music Awards, where Underwood scooped up the Best Country Album award, the singer jokingly sent her husband a picture of a "Best Purse Holder" trophy over Twitter with the caption, "
Someone gave me this for you! Congrats on the win!" Mike cheerfully responded, "u still haven't noticed the missing cash from the purse! #lockoutproblems."

When the season finally started up in January, Underwood jokingly tweeted, "Well, folks, hockey is back! I just lost my purse holder but gained cheering on my hot husband as he kicks butt! #GoPreds."

Natalie Portman has never been particularly interested in extending her own celebrity, so it’s no surprise we’ve never seen her in a big flashy public relationship. Instead she andBenjamin Millepied formed one of the unlikeliest couples on this list after the ballet dancer and choreographer met the movie star while the two worked together on Black Swan, which led to Portman’s first (and probably not last) Oscar. Since then, Portman has avoided talking about her husband too much, but who can forget the way she fawned over him during the 2011 awards season, thanking him profusely in her famously giddy Golden Globes speech that year.

After welcoming their son Aleph in 2011, these two are about to embark on another big life-changing commitment. Portman is preparing to move to Paris with Millepied, who was recently appointed the Director of Dance at the Paris Opera Ballet, a position he’ll take up in September 2014.

When Jennifer Lopez started dating Casper Smart back in November 2011, no one thought the relationship would work out — especially because it came on the heels of J.Lo's divorce from Marc Anthony. Plus, Mr. Smart was a mere 24 years old, worked as a backup dancer, and once dressed up like a bee. The unlikely pair has made it past the one-year mark, though, and that’s practically an eternity by Hollywood standards.

Over the last 15 months, these two have been pretty much inseparable. Smart has been traveling all over the globe with the singer, who had a standout year as an American Idoljudge, released a new album, and went back out on tour. Business has been good for Smart, too. He got a promotion from his girlfriend/boss in May, which made him the lead choreographer for said tour. He also showed off his rock-hard body in the steamy video for"Dance Again," which undoubtedly helped him be known as more than "Jennifer Lopez's boyfriend." His Popularity score has nearly tripled from last year, when the couple came in 35th on our list.

Smart scored a big old raise, a new car, and a smidge of fame thanks to his superstar girlfriend, but the relationship is far from lopsided. J.Lo can't stop talking about how amazing her man is in recent interviews. He's also great with her kids, and there are plenty ofadorable pictures to prove it. Plus, they just adopted a dog together. Will a ring — and maybe a baby — be next?
