Pick of the Week: Red Wine

Zampa Chene Grand Reserve by Grover Vineyards
What We Like: Zampa Chene Grand Reserve by Grover Vineyards

Why We Like It: If you’re a drinker of the red, then Grover Zampa Vineyards’ latest limited edition is a worthy buy this holiday season.

The estate-bottled Zampa Chene Grand Reserve has earned a Bronze at the 2012 Decanter World Wine Awards in the UK, thanks to the carefully handpicked grapes from Grover’s vineyards in Igatpuri.

This homegrown 2010 vintage is a signature blend of Tempranillo and Syrah, reveling in dark fruity aromas that are finished off with a spicy kick that vibes beautifully with its intense visual of ruby red.

The Zampa Chene Grand Reserve sits light on the palette, kicking off with fruity notes and a refreshing aftertaste of vanilla and cinnamon.

Consider the red wine for your Christmas or New Year’s dinner, as it pairs well with a varied selection of meats and stews; serve at 16°C-18°C.
