The French cruise ship company Du Ponant has put the luxury yacht “L´Austral”;
built by the Italian shipyard Fincanterie, into service. Optically the 142-meter
“L’Austral” commemorates the ocean going liners of the 1920s on the Atlantic routes
but she is not meant to be compared with the mega-liners of those days. The “L’Austral”
features 132 Deluxe outside cabins, capable of catering for up to 264 guests. Some
of the comfortable cabins and suites are equipped with a balcony. The largest suite
on board provides 45 square meters of space and the cabins are on average about 20
square meters. The facilities in the cabins include a double bed, bathroom with shower
and separate toilet, air conditioning, flat screen TV radio, Internet access, safety
deposit box and a lot of technical amenities such as an iPod docking station. The suites
of the yacht provide separate sleeping and living areas, bathtub and separate shower,
plus all other amenties. On board, guests are pampered in the yacht’s gastronomical
restaurant which serves international and French cuisine. Looking for luxury yacht
charter?
